Actually, IP is similar to name. In the explanation of IP, it contains the words of ‘DIFFERENTIATION’ and ‘OWN IDENTITY’. The babies are the owner of the name and the identity card number; nobody can use their name or the card number as Common Law gives them the protection. If people embezzle the name of others, they are breaking the law and will have the chance to be sued. Here, IP is also the same, once they are registered, they will be protected under the law and regulations. People are not able to use or produce their registered items.
Once IP is being registered, people feel easy to differentiate them. This is because there will be a name or identity on it, people are not able to copy it or imitate it since there are being protected under the IP law and regulations. In addition to that, people are easy to recognize them trough their name or identity such as their design, packaging, function and so on.
